Between playing Dragon Age and seeing all The Hawkeye Initiative’s lately this was the end result of my doodles tonight. Tram is is playing a dark sorcerer of some sort and has decided the female armor gives him a better stat modifier, F.A. doesn’t seem to agree. Zoom

“Do you think we all see the same thing?” Kyle asked as rain drops traced little paths down the bus window each drop casting odd reflections of the street lamps. “No” Replied Michael. “We might see the same objects, maybe even the same colors. But everything we see is painted by our memories.” Kyle turned to look as Michael continued. “A particular smell or color can bring different memories to mind for each person. A green light might bring forth memories of Grandmothers apple pie for one person while for another…” Michael paused a moment to look at Kyle “Perhaps a lovers green eyes.” Kyle blushed and turned way to look back out the window.  “huh, never thought about it that way before.” Kyle leaned back onto Michael’s shoulder as he watched the rainbow of colors flash by his window. Pondering all the different ways someone might see the same thing. Zoom

quick look at how my ram horns turned out. 

I cut a couple of holes in the hat and then duct-taped the inside bits so they would stay in place. 

I then lined the horns up as best as possible with the hat on my head and superglued the spots where the horns came into contact with the hat.

It is a bit tacky but considering the party is tonight and this was a very rushed first attempt at doing something like this it works for now.

so E.R. visit aside the whole tumblr crash of Friday left me a bit in a withdraw. being a comic artist I had to of course show my displeasure the way I know how.

It has come to my attention that I really need to use the air-brush more. My drawing process compressed in to one small box aren’t layers great?

These are essentially the steps I fallow when making a T.F.A. comic strip. Step four is technically two parts, but most of the time I start doing the text bubbles right after all the fine touching is done anyway.  one more thing I would recommend is going back to look at your original sketch work just to make sure you didn’t miss any little details. You may notice how the fence in the back ground isn’t in the final image. This was due to the fact that I had the gray background covering everything so I missed that detail that I had meant to be in the final strip. I would also recommend making notes about other details that you want to add during the final stages that aren’t on the original sketch. No one else will most likely ever know but it will bug you every time you look at it.  My last tip for all this, Have fun and don’t worry to much about the details.
